On the 19th May the Wessex Royale Hotel & Restaurant in Dorchester, was host to our annual Dorset Society Dinner. The theme for the evening was the celebration of 200 years since the death of Jane Austen (16 December 1775 to 18 July 1817).
In the words of Jane Austen, “My idea of good company is the company of clever, well-informed people who have a great deal of conversation.”
